RainMed Medical-B (02297.HK) announced that on March 1^st, 2023, Suzhou RainMed Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "RainMed") will acquire a 68.32% stake in Tianjin Your Health Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Your Health") at a total cost of RMB 25.96 million. This strategic merger and acquisition has extended RainMed’s precision diagnosis product pipeline from "covering the whole procedure of PCI" to "inspection on admission" and "inspection at the bedside", providing new momentum for its long-term development.

Your Health is mainly engaged in the field of biochemical in vitro diagnostic reagents. It is a high-tech enterprise committed to R&D, production, sales and service of products in the field of in vitro diagnostics and has a complete industrial chain of medical diagnosis. Currently, it has obtained 85 Class II registration certificates and corresponding production licenses for biochemical diagnostic reagents, covering major diagnostic categories such as blood-lipoids, myocardial, liver function and kidney function. All the 24 projects that Your Health participated in were selected in the Announcement on Centralized Volume-based Procurement of Liver Function Biochemical Testing Reagents by Inter-Provincial Alliance.

In recent years, with the continuous adjustment and support of the policies, in vitro diagnosis industry is vigorously developing. Your Health has also established a certain market position in the industry. This investment is based on the needs of RainMed’s product development strategy, in line with its long-term development plan. After the acquisition, RainMed will be cooperating with Your Health to develop a series of innovative precision cardiovascular IVD diagnostic products such as "copeptin". Its precision diagnostic product pipeline will be extended from "covering the whole PCI process" to "inspection on admission" and "inspection at the bedside", further improving its product layout.
