On March 9^th, 2023, RainMed Medical donated dozens of sets of coronary angiography-derived fractional flow reserve measurement systems to Chinese Primary Health Care Foundation. Hui Wang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Foundation, and Yonghui Lv, Executive Director and co-CEO of RainMed Medical, signed the donation cooperation agreement on behalf of both sides. Professor Zheng Zhang from Beijing well-known Class A hospital attended and witnessed the signing ceremony. This donation will help bring high-quality medical resources to the grassroots, promote the development of coronary artery precision diagnosis and treatment, and implement the hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system.

At the donation ceremony, Kangjian Liu, Vice president and Secretary of the Board of Directors of RainMed Medical, on behalf of the company, donated coronary artery precision diagnosis system to Shaoyu Wang, Director of a central hospital, witnessed by Xiaogang Wei, Deputy Director of the Career Development Center of Chinese Primary Health Care Foundation.

Professor Zheng Zhang was also invited to the ceremony to explain the significance of RainMed Medical’s coronary angiography-derived fractional flow reserve measurement system in promoting precision diagnosis and treatment from a professional perspective. At present, the treatment of coronary heart disease in China is stepping into the era of precise intervention, in which coronary function is essential, so FFR and IMR have been included as the gold standard for the diagnosis of epicardial coronary artery and coronary microcirculation, respectively. However, the operation of traditional guidewire-derived FFR and IMR is complicated, time-consuming and of high intraoperative risk, resulting in the low clinical application rate of coronary functional diagnosis. The caFFR system and the caIMR system lower the technical barrier in the operations, allowing rapid functional diagnosis without the need for pressure wires, hyperemic agents or additional surgical procedures. The R&D and launch of these two innovative products will bring opportunities for the clinical popularization of coronary function diagnosis, and have a very obvious guiding significance for improving the level of county medical diagnosis and optimizing interventional diagnosis and treatment.
