Prof. Hui Chen: RainMeds caFFR system and caIMR system can provide complete coronary functional evaluation conveniently and quickly, promoting the precise diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease

 

Prof. Hui Chen shared the new progress of functional evaluation in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease. He pointed out that FFR has become the "gold standard" for functional evaluation of coronary artery stenosis, and the importance of coronary microcirculation dysfunction in myocardial ischemia has gradually attracted attention. Compared with traditional guide wire evaluation techniques, both caFFR and caIMR can provide a convenient and rapid assessment of myocardial ischemia, thereby improving the clinical application rate of coronary functional analysis. In addition, the combination of caFFR and caIMR can evaluate myocardial ischemia conveniently and quickly, improve the application rate of coronary functional analysis and precisely guide the treatment of coronary heart disease.

 

 

Prof Xinjun Lei: RainMed Medical’s caIMR system overcomes the application difficulties of traditional guidewire-based IMR measurement technology, and is a powerful alternative to guidewire-based IMR

 

Professor Xinjun Lei made a special report on the clinical application of the index of coronary microcirculation resistance (IMR). He pointed out that IMR is an important index to evaluate microvascular function. Compared with CFR, IMR can specifically reflect coronary microcirculation function, and its repeatability is higher than CFR. RainMeds caIMR system directly calculates IMR based on angiograms. Compared with guidewire-based IMR technology, there is no need of pressure guidewire, hyperemic agents, repeated injection of normal saline, which has outstanding advantages of safety, convenience and efficiency. Prof. Hu Li shared six clinical cases of his initial use of RainMed Medical caIMR system. The case types included CMVD of obstructive coronary artery disease, CMVD of complicated obstructive coronary artery disease, CMVD during emergency PCI, and a variety of situations, demonstrating the application potential of this system in the precision diagnosis and treatment of CHD. Prof. Xianglong Wei systematically demonstrated the application of RainMeds caFFR system in precise intervention of coronary heart disease through abundant clinical cases. The 7 cases shared by Professor Wei involved the preoperative diagnosis and postoperative effect verification of three-vessel/multi-vessel lesions and bifurcation lesions, which helped us use caFFR system in a better and wide range.
